Cast and Creatives
James is a leading practitioner in film production, photography and event production in the theatre industry. Recent credits include The Book of Mormon, Disney’s Aladdin, and Mamma Mia. James' the Producer of Melbourne's bi monthly musical theatre industry night, and Take the Mic Australia which has embraced more than 1,000 performers in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane through various events and productions.
Mark is a sought-after creative with a background in theatre, film, advertising and events. Theatre directing credits include musicals First Date, John and Jen, and Next to Normal, all for Pursued by Bear. The History Boys (Purely Pensive Productions), and Plastic Pacific (Melbourne Fringe 2013). In 2017 Mark co-founded Hucklebuck Productions, a company committed to staging original Australian works. The company’s first production was Michael Ralph’s SELF (Melbourne Fringe 2017)
Katie Weston is a professional singer, actor, musician, songwriter/composer, voice-coach, teacher and theatre creative. Qualifications include: Masters of Music Performance in
Contemporary Voice & Music Theatre (MCM/Melbourne Uni), Bachelor Degree in Music
Composition (VCA), Adv.Diploma of Contemporary Music Performance - Voice (NMIT) and a
Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching (La Trobe).
Freya List is an emerging and innovative Australian choreographer. Freya has a unique story telling ability with her choreography that can most recently be seen in ‘The Children’ by MTC/STC, the ‘Kabaret Dietrich’ cabaret, Woodes live tour and the Eden Swan live show at Melbourne Spring Fashion Week.
Freya’s screen choreography can be seen on Utopia, Good Morning America, the Australian Dance feature film ‘UP HERE’, and music videos for Hopium, Sex on Toast and Braille Face.
